Black Fruits
Andrea Joki (Cleveland, Ohio) and Udo Haufe (Dresden, Germany) developed these works on paper over a span of three years through a variety of processes including relief printing, paper lithography, collagraph printing and drawing. At times, the printed impressions are of found objects collected during travels (Haufe) or of specimens gathered from one's own backyard (Joki). Developed through blind collaboration, the prints themselves are like found objects, continually revealing to each artist elements of the unexpected.
