Desert Productions

I took my practice on the road over the last few weeks traveling through New Mexico, Arizona and southern California with a pop-up studio, lots of paper and paint, a sound recorder and camera. I am exploring themes of identity and time as I set up painting sessions at specific sites, capturing these four-hour sessions with time-lapse long exposure photography and sound recordings. This research is a component of a larger project that I hope to realize in the next few months.
