An interdisciplinary approach to investigating the phenomenon of synethsesia.

Voyage of Discovery - Entdeckte und Entdecker (with Udo Haufe), Zygote Press, Cleveland, OH, 2007; Kulturrathaus, Dresden, Germany, 2006
A three-year blind collaboration, Joki and Haufe developed a series of works on paper, mailing the work back and forth between Cleveland and Dresden through the postal service.

Stamperbluemchen (with poet, John Panza), Cleveland, OH and Dresden, Germany, 2004
Organized by Dresden artist, Holm Buchner, the Stamperbluemchen project invites artists from Germany and abroad to develop a suite of boxed prints to be exhibited and distributed at non-traditional sites. Joki's and Panza's collaborative series, Wanderlust, was exhibited at various sites in Cleveland, OH and Dresden, Germany in 2004.
